Before you start
Is the Retirement Check free?
Yes. There is no cost and no obligation. You see your results on screen as soon as you finish.
What information do I need?
Ballpark numbers: your age, what you have saved and in what kind of accounts, your Social Security estimate (from your statement at ssa.gov/myaccount), any pension, and what you spend. You never enter account numbers or your Social Security number.
How accurate are the results?
They are estimates based on what you enter and on stated assumptions. Taxes use 2026 federal rules. Market results are hypothetical simulations, not predictions or promises. The full report lists every assumption, and you can change them.
What happens to my information?
Your answers stay in your browser while you work. If you ask for your full report, your contact details and a summary of your answers and results go to TBS Retirement Planning so the team can follow up if you want. It is never sold. See the privacy policy.
Can I talk to someone about my results?
Yes. Book a free 15-minute review with Ryan's team from your report, or call (817) 786-1010, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5.
How is this different from other retirement calculators?
Many calculators stop at "will my savings last." This one also estimates lifetime taxes under 2026 rules, required minimum distributions, Medicare surcharges (IRMAA), what fees cost you, whether Roth conversions appear to help, and compares Social Security claiming ages, in one report.
